Olympia Oyster Survey

Brady Blake, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Michael Adams, MRC chair and shellfish farmer will be conducting a survey of Oylmpia oysters in the the Bywater Bay Lagoon this Saturday, June 12.  Interested parties, can join the survey party at the Seven Sisters road end at 10:00 AM. Volunteers will need rubber boots and protection from the elements (sun, wind, rain – depending upon the weather). Total time on the beach is expected to be less than 4 hours.  Note: this is in addition to the Oylmpia oyster training being offered on June 15 in Brinnon.
